Paying tribute to the late legendary singer, band members of Roots captivated everyone with their songs

India lost Bhupen Hazarika, one of her most well-respected singers in November 2011.

The vacuum is unlikely to get filled anytime soon. Also known as the ‘Son of Assam’ he was a lyricist, composer, singer, performing artist, music director, film director, poet, writer, editor, political performer, commentator, social activist and an intellectual - all rolled into one.
